Best ways to reach Coimbatore

Coimbatore, the second largest city in the state of Tamil Nadu after Chennai, has been attracting visitors from across the globe owing to its age-old temples. The city is easily reachable via all modes of transportation, namely air, road, and rail. Coimbatore Airport, located at Peelamedu, about 11 km from city center, links the destination with rest of world. Those traveling by train can book their tickets up to Coimbatore Junction railway station, which is well connected with all prime Indian cities. One can also reach Coimbatore by road from neighboring cities and town by taking roadways and state operated buses.

By air:
